// the workflow

Turn one sentence into a cinematic ad.

This is the exact Claude and Higgsfield setup I use to make motion ads in minutes. No camera. No crew. No editing software. The skill file is free, and the full walkthrough is right here on this page.

One email with the file. No spam, no drip sequence.

// built with this exact workflow

50K+ views

58K+ views

Same workflow. Every one of them.

// what's in the file

  • The custom motion design skill. The same one I run, not a stripped down version.
  • The full setup, start to finish. Connector, skill, prompt.
  • The prompt structure that gets usable output on the first try instead of the fifth.

// what you need

  • A Claude account. Custom connectors work on Free, Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise. Free accounts are limited to one custom connector, which is fine, because you only need one.
  • A Higgsfield account with credits. This is what actually renders the video, so you need credits available before you generate.

That's it. No editing software, no plugins, nothing to install.

// watch it in action

Prefer to watch? Here it is, start to finish.

The same workflow, walked through on video. The written steps below cover every detail.

// step by step

The whole setup takes about ten minutes.

Get the Higgsfield connector URL

Open a new browser tab and search for Higgsfield AI MCP. Click the first result to open the Higgsfield MCP page. Scroll to the section called “Add the Higgsfield custom connector” and click the button to copy the URL. It should look like this:

https://mcp.higgsfield.ai/mcp

You can also just copy it from this page and skip the search.

Open your Claude connector settings

Go to Claude, click Customize in the left sidebar, then select Connectors.

Add the custom connector

Click the + button, then choose Add custom connector. Name it Higgsfield MCP, paste the URL from step 1 into the server URL field, and click Add.

Connect it

Find Higgsfield MCP in your connector list and click Connect to authenticate with your Higgsfield account. This is the step that links your credits to Claude. If you skip it, the generation will fail later.

Go to Skills

Still inside the Customize menu, switch over to the Skills tab.

Upload the motion design skill

Click to add a skill, then drag and drop the SKILL.md file you downloaded from this page. Claude reads it and now knows the entire motion design process, the prompt structure, the style options, and the render settings. This file is the difference between a generic AI video and something that actually looks like an ad.

Start a chat and turn the connector on

Open a new chat. Click the + button in the message box and make sure Higgsfield MCP is toggled on for this conversation. Connectors are enabled per conversation, so this needs to happen every time you start fresh.

Prompt it

Describe the ad you want in plain English. You do not need to be clever here, the skill handles the heavy lifting. Use this as your starting structure:

Build me a motion design ad for [product or business].

What it is: [one or two sentences]
The feeling I want: [cinematic, energetic, premium, moody, playful]
Where it's going: [Instagram Reel, TikTok, YouTube Short]

Use the motion-design skill and the Higgsfield MCP.

Answer the questions

Claude walks you through the choices: motion style, video duration, and frame format. Just answer them. This is the part people expect to be complicated and it is not.

Generate

Let it run. It renders the video and hands it back to you. That is the whole thing.

One email with the file. No spam, no drip sequence.

// troubleshooting

  • Connector won't add: make sure the URL ends in /mcp and you pasted it into the server URL field, not the name field.
  • Generation fails: check that you clicked Connect on the connector and that you have Higgsfield credits available.
  • Claude ignores the skill: open a fresh chat and confirm the connector toggle is on for that conversation.
  • Output looks generic: your prompt was probably too vague on the feeling. Be specific about the mood and the product.

// or skip all of it
